Ruby Vincent

Ruby Mae Veach Vincent 'Me-Maw' 85 of Fountain Run, KY and formerly of Louisville, died Thursday October 9, 2008 at her home. The Monroe County native was born Feb. 12, 1923, the loving and devoted daughter of the late William Alpha and Virgie Kirby Veach and the loving and devoted wife of the late Herschel Vincent. She was also preceded in death by a brother and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was retired from Joseph E. Seagrams and Sons and was a beautician and volunteer for Helping Hands wherever she was needed. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and a member of O.E.S. Liberty Chapter #165 in Louisville. She loved her family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter Sheila Ann Warwick and husband Robert 'Bob' of Bowling Green; a grandson Robert 'Bobby' Vincent Warwick and wife Penny of Woodburn; a granddaughter Andrea Dawn Hales and husband Brad of Bowling Green; two great granddaughters Savannah Jo Warwick and Alexis Ann Hales; a great grandson Benjamin Matthew Warwick; a brother William Argel Veach and wife Elaine of Horse Cave; a sister Leatrice Gibson of West Point and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday October 13, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow with burial in Union #1 Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Monday from 11am until time for services.
