Rudolf Thomsen, Jr.

Rudolf Otto Thomsen, Jr. 81 of Glasgow died Thursday morning November 30, 2007 at the Maple Manor Health Care Center in Greenville, KY. He was born in Gouverneur, NY the son of the late Fudof Ott Thomsen Sr. and Laura Belle Liscum Thomsen. He was a retired Electrical Inspector for the State of Kentucky and was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He attended the Peters Creek Baptist Church and was a member of the Gouverneur, NY Masonic Lodge and a 50 year Member of the Shrine Club. He is survived by his wife Virginia Beasley Thomsen; 2 sons Rick Thomsen (Venessa) of Glasgow and Rudolf Otto Thomsen III (Kathy) of McMinnville, TN; a daughter Heather Thomsen of Bowling Green; a sister Nancy Kerr of Tell City, IN and 2 grandchildren McCrae Thomsen and Jamison Crouch of McMinnville, TN. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday December 1, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. A masonic service will be held at 7pm Friday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and the public is welcome to attend. Visitation will be after 5pm Friday and after 9am Saturday until time for services.
