Ruth Aspley

Ruth Aspley, 90, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Durham-Hensley Nursing Home in Greeneville, TN. Mrs. Aspley was born in Monroe County, KY and had resided in Ormond Beach, Florida since 1970 having moved to Greeneville, TN in 2011. She was a member of Tomoka Christian Church in Ormond Beach, FL. Mrs. Aspley and her husband Joe retired in 1970 as owners and operators of the Starlite Drive-In Theater in Princeton, IN. Mrs. Aspley was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Joe W. Aspley, Sr., her parents Ora and Lena Gerald; a son Dr. Joe W. Aspley, Jr. and a daughter Susan Aspley Krieger. Survivors include a son Dr. Donald B. Aspley and wife Brenda; a daughter-in-law Jean Aspley; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several special cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 10th from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
