Ruth Church

Ruth 'Shirley' Church 74 of Cave City, KY died Wednesday at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Mrs. Church was born in Ohio County, KY the daughter of the late Ben and Bertha Selvidge Bryant. She was a homemaker and a member of the Caveland Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Jack and they would have celebrated their 57th wedding aniversary on April 5th. She is also survived by 2 daughters Debbie Cox and husband Leland of Cave City, and Becky Honeycutt and husband Dannie of Cave City; 1 son Robbie Church and wife Camille of Cave City; 1 brother James Robert Bryant of Glasgow; 2 sisters Betty Forrest of Indiana and Wilma Groce of Louisville; 4 granddaughters Nikki Poland and husband Chad, Regina Murphy and husband Steven, Terryn Mollie Honeycutt and Chessa Rae Church; 2 gandsons Robert Clay Church and Seth Thomas Church and 1 great granddaughter Taylor Murphy. One Aunt and several nieces and nephews also survive. Two brothers Ralph and Earl Bryant preceded her in death. At the request of Mrs. Church, a Graveside service will be held 10:00am Friday March 26, 2004 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3pm Thursday at the A. F.
