Ruth Hale

Ruth L. Hale 81 of Glasgow died Saturday June 30, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Barren County the daughter of the late George and Ida Waller Elmore. Mrs. Hale was a homemaker and a former employee of Sorenson in Glasgow. She was married to the Late Robert Emmitt Hale and a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include 3 daughters Scharlene Edmunds (Bobby) of Glasgow, Betty Maxine Payne (Melvin) of Bon Ayr and Darlene Kruessel of Bowling Green; 5 grandchildren Janie Wheat (Tim), Lori Bennett (Larry), Angela Daniels (Wes), Jeremy Jackson (Barb) and Theresa Vincent and friend Willie; 6 great grandchildren; 5 sisters Breatrice Williams, Margaret Eatmon, Gladys Kerney, Marine Chapman and Dorothy Jones; 1 sister in law Maurice Elmore. In addition to her Husband and parents she is preceded in death by 1 brother Edward Elmore; grandchild Lisa Spradlin; son in law John Kruessel. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday July 3, 2007 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
