Samuel Langley

Samuel Eugene Langley, age 73 of Leitchfield passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born September 19, 1941 in Leitchfield the son of the late Wilam Felix and Bessie Wells Langley. He is survived by his wife, Martha Cripps Langley, two sons, Eric Langley (Retta) of Legionnaire, IN and Richard Langley of Leitchfield, a special daughter, Jerry Hartlage (James) of Leitchfield, one granddaughter, Amber Langley of Legionnaire, IN, two step-granddaughters, Alex Mitchell and Sara Johnson of Leitchfield, and one sister, Anna Johnson of Leitchfield. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Gavin Wayne Langley. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 23, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Steve Holman officiating. Burial will be in the St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 3:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 Monday at the funeral home.
