Sarah Jones

Sarah Martha Jones 83 of Glasgow died Monday September 19, 2011 at the Barren County Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren County the daughter of the late Luther J. Anderson and the late Verda Adaline Waller Anderson. Mrs. Jones was a retired Assembly Line worker with Mallory's Capacitor in Glasgow. She was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter # 20, Etoile Chapter of The Eastern Star with over 50 Years service and a member of the Dover Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Hermon. Survivors include 2 sons Clifford Wayne Jones (Peggy) & Wallace Earl Jones ( Peggy) both of Glasgow; 3 daughters Sarah Frances Wright ( Mike), Betty Nell Davis (Johnny) both of Glasgow and Connie Jones Bewley and fiance Deric Childress of Cave City; 1 brother Luther Dave Anderson ( Phyillis ) of IL; 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren; 1 son-in-law Bobby McPherson (Vicky) of Glasgow also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Clifford Jones, 1 daughter Martha Sue McPherson;1 brother James William Anderson; 1 half brother Hascal Anderson; 1 sister Mary Edith Gentry and 1 half sister Verda Mayo. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Wednesday September 21, 2011 at the A.F. Crow & son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Etoile Chapter of the Eastern Star will conduct an Eastern Star service Tuesday afternoon at 7:00PM at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
