Scott W. 'Teet' Moore 81 of Glasgow, Kentucky died Monday February 21, 2005 at his home. He was born in Lexington, KY the son of the late Henry W. Moore and Kate Bell Moore Kelley. Mr. Moore graduated from Anchorage High School in Anchorage, KY. He joined the U. S. Marine Corp in 1943 and served in the Asiatic Pacific area as a demolition specialist in the Hawaiian, Philippine and Marianas Islands until 1946. Mr. Moore worked in sales for United Casket Company and retired as President of the company after 37years. He was past president of the Tennessee and Kentucky Funeral Supply Salesmans Club and he was a member and a Deacon at the First Christian Church in Glasgow. Survivors include his wife Joan; three daughters Mary Woods Nash and husband Michael of Glasgow, Catherine Brantley and husband Perry of Glasgow and Sarah Scott Waterfill and husband Steve of Louisville, KY; seven grandchidren Scott Brantley, Morgan Brantley and Laura Brantley Barnhart and husband Robert, Catherine Nash, Woods Nash, William Nash and Rachel Waterfill; his mother in law Emma Dishinger of Glasgow and a sister in law Wilma Mae Moore of Glasgow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert W. 'Todd' Moore. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday February 25, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by the D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be held in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Moore will be on Thursday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the First Christian Church of Glasgow or the T. J. Samson Hospice Program.
