Seth Amanns

Seth G. Amanns 87 of Champaign, IL died Sunday August 1, 2004 at the Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, IL. He was born in Brenton, Canada the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Seth O. Amanns and husband of the late Velma I. Payne Amanns. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the European Theater, a member of St. John's Lurheran Church in Champaign, the American Legion and the Moose Lodge in Champaign. Mr. Amanns was a sales representative for the G.E. Corporation and Owned Amanns TV in Champaign for 33 years. He is survived by a sister in law Kathleen Rook of Champaign, IL and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday August 4, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00pm. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
