Sharon Holsclaw

Sharon Darlene Jones Holsclaw 62 of Hiram, GA and formally of Glasgow, died Sunday November 16, 2008 at Lovely Personal Care Home in Marietta, GA. She was born in Temple Hill, KY the daughter of the late Lester and Mildred Cooksey Jones. During her life she and husband, Wayne, shared several self-employed businesses from selling life insurance to a modular wall manufacturing plant. Her most rewarding profession was her last career as a school bus driver. Behind a ninety passenger school bus, she found her purpose and passion in life. She touched the lives and hearts of everyone who knew her. Born with a natural green thumb, she loved flowers, gardening and animals. Her companion Angel gave her great comfort and joy during her last year of life. Angel made her a 'grandma' with two beautiful puppies. She is survived by her husband Wayne, two daughters Kelly Thomas and husband Jerry of Stafford, VA and Amanda Holsclaw of Smyrna, GA; two granddaughters Amber and Elizabeth Thomas; two sisters Charlotte Elmore and husband Clifton of Glasgow and Bonnie Pedigo and husband Robert of Glasgow and a brother Dan Jones and friend Mark Anderson of Palm Springs, CA. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday November 20, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Wednesday.
