Sharron Green

Sharron Green 54 of Rocky Hill died Saturday July 26, 2008 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville. Born in Metcalfe County the daughter of the late Otis VanZant and Norma Jean Jones VanZant. Mrs. Green was a Homemaker, a member of the Metcalfe County Lady Auxiliary and was a member of the Hanging Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Joe Green of Rocky Hill; 1 stepson Joe Lee Green Jr.(Casey) of Rocky Hill; 1 stepdaughter Angelia Green of Bowling Green; 2 step grandchildren John Robert Buchannan & Lilly Grace Buchannan; 2 brothers Wally(Lisa) VanZant of IN., Jimmy(Robin) VanZant of Shepherdsville, KY;1 sister Susan(Loye)McConnell of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Mother-in-law Dorothy Green of Glasgow and brother-in-law Terry Green of Glasgow; Several nieces and nephews and her faithful pet boxer 'Bug'. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her father-in-law Clarence Green. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday July 29, 2008 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
