Sherry Tabor

Sherry Rush Tabor 51 of Lucas, KY died Sunday July 20, 2008 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was born in Bowling Green, KY, the daughter of Charles Rush and Marine Ford Rush of Summer Shade, KY who survive. Sherry was an employee for 30 years at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital where she was the Director of Social Services, Public Relations and Marketing. She also taught at the Glasgow Campus of Western Kentucky University. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Glasgow. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Danny Tabor; her son Beau Tabor and wife Amy of Summer Shade, KY; her daughter Emily Taylor and husband Matt of Lucas; a grandson Kaleb Rush Taylor and a soon to be born granddaughter, Carly Ford Tabor and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Glasgow Baptist Church with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville. Visitation will be at the Glasgow Baptist Church on Tuesday from 1:00 until 9:00pm and on Wednesday from 9:00am until time for the service.
