Shirlene Allen

Shirlene Allen 71 of Glasgow died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at her residence. Born in Georgia she was the daughter of the late Nelson & Mamie Lou McDaniel Allen. Ms. Allen was of the Methodist faith and a former employee of numerous factories in the Glasgow area before retiring. Survivors include 3 daughters Daythia Allen of Glasgow, Sheryl Allen and Lisa Allen both of Griffin, GA; a son CWO Ejnor Allen of the United States Embassy, Kuwait; a brother Richard B. Allen of Atlanta, GA; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Larry Darnell Allen. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, September 30, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Odd Fellow Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
