Stella Hill

Stella Marie Hill, age 92, of Caneyville KY, passed away Wednesday, June 25th, 2014 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield. She was born on February 12th, 1922 in Ohio County, the daughter of the late Ollie Andrew and Charlotte (Bell) Johnson. She attended the Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Stella was a housewife and enjoyed gardening and sewing. Stella is survived by her great nephew, Michael Crawford (Brenda) of Caneyville; her step-son, Roger Hill (Barbara) of McHenry and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Lucian Payton and her second husband, Edgar Hill.Funeral services will be Friday, June 27th at 1:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Thursday after 2:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until time of service.
