Stephan Wayne Smith

Stephan Wayne Smith, 55, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born January 28, 1969 in Indianapolis, Indiana to C. Calvin Smith and Vicki Long Smith. Stephan owned and operated S.W.S. Collison and later did bodywork for Gipe Auto Color. He was very talented and did custom body work also. Stephan had a strong love for going fast. He had a passion for driving race cars and for 12 years, he was his daughter, Jasmine’s, Girl Scout troop leader. Stephan loved life on the lake and was an avid swimmer, boater, and jet skier. His family will always cherish the memories they made with him and he will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Christine Weyrauch Smith; one daughter, Jasmine Smith (Drake); one adopted son, Corbin Wright; one brother, Doug Smith (Valorie); one half-sister, Sheri Basey (Michael); father-in-law, Wayne Weyrauch, Sr.; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Weyrauch, Jr. and Eric Weyrauch; three sisters-in-law, Anita Smith, Jennifer Weyrauch, Ashely Weyrauch; eight nephews and eleven nieces; and his precious furbabies, Trixie, Lou Lou, Jeff, and Princess Pancake.

He was preceded in death by one brother, John William Smith; his grandparents, William and Gertrude Smith; stepmother, Shirley Carroll; and mother-in-law, Alice Schorman.

The funeral service for Mr. Smith will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 7th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home. Please share your condolences with the family at www.afcrowfh.com.
