Steven Lee "Steve" Irwin

Steve Irwin 53 of Knob Lick, KY died Sunday, February 21, 2016 surrounded by family. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Leland Junior Irwin and Josephine Powell Irwin who survives. Steve was a farmer and a member of South Green St. Church of Christ. He was an avid University of KY fan and enjoyed playing basketball and camping. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Laura Hawkins Irwin; 2 sons Ryan and Colton Irwin of Glasgow; 2 daughters Melissa Hawkins (Brandon Davis) of Cleveland, TN and Holly Irwin of Glasgow; 4 brothers Gary Irwin, Michael (Cherri) Irwin, David (Marla) Irwin and Chris (Kimberly) Irwin; 2 sisters Daphne (Bobby) Wood and Sandra Irwin all of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 28th at South Green St. Church of Christ. Visitation will be at the church Sunday from 12:30 until time for the service. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
