Susie Smith

Susie C. Smith, age 61, of Glasgow, died Saturday, February 11, 2023 at her home. She was born on October 6, 1961, in Columbus, IN to the late Almond Austin Carroll, Jr. and the late Nora (Riddle) Joyce. She was a housekeeper for Columbus Regional Hospital and a member of Hillside Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Austin Eugene Carroll; one brother, Robert Austin Carroll (Betty); two sisters, Amanda Ogle (Rick) and Mechelle Alane Carroll; three grandchildren, Sarah Carroll, Nathan Carroll, and Isabella Carroll. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Almond Austin Carroll, Sr. and Gladys Carroll; and two brothers, Marvin Tony Carroll and Paul Franklin Carroll. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 16th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
