Services for Sylvia 'Grabby' Middleton Duckworth 86, Glasgow will be 1:00pm Monday, August 9, 2004 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY with Kevin Gaunce, Grandson, officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Mrs. Duckworth died Friday, August 6, 2004 at the Barren County Health Care facility in Glasgow, KY. She was a native of Carlisle, KY for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Pat Gaunce & husband Wayne of Glasgow; step-daughter Pam Duckworth of Columbus, OH; 4 grandchildren Patrick Gaunce & wife Tammye of Glasgow, Kevin Gaunce & wife Jennifer of Paducah, KY, Paige Benson & husband Mike of Dickson, TN and step granddaughter Kathy Potter & husband Scott of TN; 8 great grandchildren Hannah, Rebecca, Joshua and Caleb Gaunce, Zachary Benson, Taylor Gaunce and step grandchildren Daniel & Dillon Potter; 5 sisters Tressie Ralston, Bea Slade, Wilma Duckworth all of Cynthiana, KY, Odella Sowers of Georgetown, KY and Bonnie Ecton of Frankfort, KY; a brother Harold Middleton of Sadieville; several nieces & nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband James Duckworth, her parents Earl & Dorothy Fields Middleton and a step daughter Rita Valet.
