Terry Childress Davis

Terry C. Davis, age 80, passed away May 12, 2021 at Glenview Nursing Home in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky to Mitchell Davis and Cloteel Howard Davis. Terry graduated from Glasgow High School with the Class of 1959 and earned an Associate in Science and a Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University. He served in the United States Air Force stateside as well as abroad in Japan and Vietnam. Returning to Kentucky, he worked as a Registered Nurse at T. J. Samson Community Hospital and the Glasgow Ambulance Service. Terry also worked as a tour guide at Diamond Caverns and more recently as a guide at Mammoth Cave National Park. Terry was preceded in death by a sister, Lou Mae Johnson of Frankfort, Kentucky. He is survived by, a son, Scott A. Davis of Cave City, Kentucky; a twin brother, Jerry H. Davis of Tallahassee, Florida; a sister, Shelby Jean Harris of Owensboro, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. A Military Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow will be presenting the Military Honors.
