Terry Flatt

Terry Randolph Flatt 68 of Glasgow died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at U of L Hospital in Louisville. He was born in Somerset, KY the son of the late Bill and Rose Sullivan Flatt. Terry was a teacher, coach and athletic director. He began his career in Nashville, TN and later would be with the school systems of Halls, TN, Metcalfe County, KY, Auburn, KY and retiring from Glasgow High School in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Open Door Sunday school class where he was a teacher. Survivors include his wife, Pam Trevathan Flatt; son Sonny Flatt (Christy); daughter Cissy Shoffner (Michael); 4 grandchildren Payne and Graycen Flatt and Ellyson Rose and Beau Shoffner all of Glasgow; 1 sister Lou Smith (Kerry) of Lawrenceburg, KY; 2 sisters-in-law Diane Trevathan of Jackson, TN and Joyce Trevathan of Germantown, TN; a brother-in-law Skip Trevathan (Peggy) of Germantown, TN and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 27th at First United Methodist Church. Visitation with family and friends will be at First United Methodist Church Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday from 9:00 AM until time for the service. A. F.
