Thelma Maxine Collins

Maxine Kerney Collins 81 of Glasgow died Friday, August 08, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow she was the daughter of the late John Franklin Likens and Flossie Hume Likens. Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and a former employee of Sorensen Mfg. Co. She was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter Judy Wood (Daryl) of Glasgow; her son Marshall Kerney (Gayle) of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Alan Scott Chaplin (Carolyn) of Indiana, Mark Todd Chaplin (Jennifer) of Alabama, Brandon Kerney (Amy) of Glasgow and Grant Dawn Furlong (Kris) of Georgetown, KY; 8 great-grandchildren Madison, Emily, Chelsey, and Hannah Chaplin, Trevor and Nick Kerney and Alexis and Grayson Furlong; 1 brother Wayne Likens (Alice) of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Collins, 3 brothers Everett, Louie and J.P. and a sister Elizabeth Ann Norman. Funeral services will be 1pm Sunday, August 10th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Saturday.
