Thomas David Glass

Thomas David Glass 72 of Glasgow died Friday, April 21, 2017 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. The Barren County native was the son of the late James B. and Laura Evelyn Perkins Glass. David was retired from SKF in Glasgow and was also a farmer. He was a member of Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church and had been attending Wisdom Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Judy Hurt Glass; 1 daughter Kim Kjelsen (Nils) of Glasgow; 1 grandson Jared Guthrie (Alyssa) of Hopkinsville; 2 step-grandchildren Savannah Kjelsen Smith and Skyler Kjelsen of Edmonton; 3 great-grandchildren Madelyn Guthrie and Axle and Chevelle Smith; 1 brother Jimmy Glass (Elsie) of Glasgow; a brother-in-law Jimmy Hurt (Jane) of Glasgow; 3 nieces Tammy Glass Lowe, Holley Hurt Short and Machelle Middleton Kesslar. He is also survived by his special friends Ed and Connie Dickson, Bobby and Sue Elmore and David Jolly. He was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Estes. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 26th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM Tuesday.
