Thomas Eldon Taylor

Eldon Taylor 86 of Glasgow died Tuesday, December 07, 2010 at his home. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Roscoe and Neva Glass Taylor. Eldon was a farmer and a carpenter and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church at Eighty Eight, KY. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Marie; 2 sons Ralph Taylor of Eighty Eight and Danny Taylor of Glasgow; 1 daughter Dana Taylor of Knoxville, TN; 12 grandchildren, Steve Taylor, Scott Taylor, Stephanie Hamilton, Kelly Taylor, Chris Taylor, Amy Taylor, Emily Scott, Aaron Spillman, Jennifer Merritt, Justin Taylor, Jessica Hill and Holly Proffitt; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters Alline Piercy of California and Mary Frances Scowden and Joann Devasher both of Indiana. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Rita Taylor Spillman, a son Ronnie Taylor, a brother Elmus Taylor and a sister Jean Ellis. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm Wednesday.
