Tilda Jewell

Tilda Pauline Jewell 88 of Cave City, KY died Friday at the Glenview Health Care Facility in Glasgow. Born in Metcalfe County, KY she was the daughter of the late James Green Jewell and Mary Francis Compton Jewell and wife of the late Floyd Jewell. Mrs. Jewell was of the Pentecostal Faith. Survivors include 2 daughters Gladys Young of Glasgow and Jo Ann Owens (Jimmy) of Edinburgh, IN; 2 sons William 'Boots' Jewell (Jo Ann) of Center, KY and Edward Jewell (Linda) of Cave City, KY; a daughter-in-law Lucy Jewell of Cave City;18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Raymond Jewell, a sister Anna Mae Finn and a brother Hazel Jewell. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Cosby United Methodist Church with burial in the Cosby Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Monday at the Cosby United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
