Timothy James Smith

Timothy James Smith, 65, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born April 15, 1956 in Freeport, Illinois to the late James William Smith and Frances Jeanette Owens Smith. Timothy was a truck driver for Walbert Trucking most of his life and loved farming. Mr. Smith was a proud United States Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Faye Chapman Smith, who passed away the day after him; children, Angie Fossil, Tim Smith, Angela Smith, Maria Smith (Chris), Michelle Rogers (Chris), Marcie Minor, Jamie Pierce (Courtney), Serena King (Eddie), Kevin York (Joyce), Barbara Johnson (Chris); siblings, Kay Hatcher (Marlon), Ruby Lile (Roger), David Smith (Kathy); and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Smith and granddaughter, Jacie Smith. The funeral service for Mr. Smith will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21st with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mr. Smith.
