Vallie England

Vallie Gertrude Arnold England 87 of Glasgow died Tuesday January 17, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daugher of the late John William Fields and Eula Jane Gibson Fields. She was preceded in death by her husbands Leslie Arnold and Rev. Thomas England. Mrs. England was a member of the Hillside Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter Betty Arnold Stockton of Indianapolis, IN; a son Leroy Arnold and wife Louise of Glasgow; a step daughter Jeri McLendon of Birmingham, AL; 2 grandchildren Joyce Sacrey of Bowling Green and Robert Stockton of Indianapolis, IN; 2 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 6 sisters Ruby Starr of Glasgow, Mable Cash of Summer Shade, Velma Davis, Dorothy Davis, Vola Oaks and Nettie Pearl Jessie all of Columbus, IN and a brother Junior Fields of Columbus, IN. She was also preceded in death by a sister Gertie Gray and two brothers Lewis and Andrew Fields. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday January 20, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
