Vassie Wright

Vassie Ruth Wright 90 of Glasgow died Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Glenview Health Care Facility. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Marvin Dewey Morgan & Willie Hancock Morgan Eldridge and wife of the late James Wright. Mrs. Wright was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a son Jeff Vance of Park City, KY; a daughter Helen Brown of Park City; a sister Mary A. Bush of Haywood; 18 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her first husband Buford Vance, 2 sons James Marvin & Robert Earl Vance, her step father Andrew Eldridge, 2 sisters Carolyn Pickett and Zelma Hare and 2 brothers Russell & J. T. Morgan. Graveside services will be 2:30pm Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 2:00pm Monday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
