Veachel Holman

Veachel Morris "Mossey" Holman 75 of Smiths Grove, KY died Friday, February 5, 2016 at his residence. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Noah Basil and Myrtle Beckham Holman. Mr. Holman was of the Church Of Christ faith and retired from the KY State Highway Department and a farmer. Survivors include a daughter Kathy Wilson of Glasgow; a son Morris Holman of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Erica Wilson, Olivia Wilson, Whitney Holman Ford and Wesley Holman; a great granddaughter Keylee Ford; a sister Brenda Lawrence (Billy) of Smiths Grove, KY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Gayle Holman, a sister Juanita Ausbrooks and 5 brothers Donald L., Wendell Pete, Kenneth, Lowell and Richard Holman. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, February 8, 2016 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
