Velma Jones

Lois Jones, age 97, of Austin KY, passed away Sunday July 2, 2023, at Somerset Nursing & Rehab in Somerset KY. Lois was born on August 12, 1925, to the late William Isaac Shields and the late Alie (Oliver) Sheilds. She is survived by her sons, Michael Jones (Claudette), Kenneth Jones (Mary), Carlos Jones (Teresa); son-in-law, Royce Watson; grandchildren, Chris Jones (Carla), Brad Watson (Julie), Matthew Jones (Tina), Casey Jones, Melissa Garrett (Travis), Mark Hill (Lisa); several great-grandchildren & great great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by daughter, Glenda Watson; grandson, Glenn Watson. The funeral service for Mrs. Jones will be held at 2:00 PM. Friday, July 7th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cresent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville KY. Visitation will be Friday, July 7th, starting at 10:00 AM. until time for the service.
