Velma Lyle

Velma Pearl Lyle 86 of Glasgow died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at her home. The Barren County native was the daughter of the late George Henry and Laura May Shirley Ritter. Ms. Lyle was retired from Walmart in Glasgow. She is survived by a step-son David Lyle (Peggy) of Livingston, TN; a brother Ernest Alton Ritter, Sr. (Janice) of Glasgow; a great niece and special caregiver Tabitha Price and husband Jason of Glasgow; her nieces and nephew Linda Meador, Diana Short, Pam Joynes, Kathy Addison, Debbie Duzan, Laura Goad, Lisa Smith and Ernie Ritter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 nephews Steve and Charlie Ritter. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
