Vera Martin

Vera Mae Martin 89 of Glasgow died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at BHI Assisted Living in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Johnny N. Johnson and Ova Morrison Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Dale E. Martin. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and ceramics and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church at Lamb. She is survived by her son David Martin and wife Wanda of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Scott Martin and Jennie Turner (Randy); 3 great grandchildren Matt Turner, Bryce and Brynn Martin all of Glasgow; 1 brother Earl Johnson of Bowling Green, 1 sister Olene Hunt of Murfreesboro, TN; a sister-in-law Kathleen Johnson of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 4pm until 8pm and Tuesday morning until time for the service.
