Verda Mckenzie

Verda Lucille McKenzie 74 of Glasgow died Tuesday August 9, 2005 at her home. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky the daughter of the late Isaac and Maggie Taylor Likens and wife of the late Edward Richard McKenzie. Mrs. McKenzie was a homemaker and attended the Church of God. She is survived by 2 daughters, Charlotte McKenzie and Tammy McKenzie both of Glasgow; 5 sons Ronnie McKenzie and wife Kathy of Bedford, IN, Marvin McKenzie of Edmonton, Mike McKenzie of Oregon, Patrick McKenzie and wife Mary of Glasgow and David McKenzie and wife Julie of Tennessee; 2 brothers Albert Likens of Indianapolis, IN and Ottis Likens of Glasgow; 3 sisters Rosa Dewbrew of Greenfield, IN, Evelyn Decker of Glasgow and Sue York of Glasgow; 19 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. A sister Stella Hiser and three brothers, Ernest, Herbert and Lenville Likens preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday August 12, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Thursday.
