Verna Armstrong

Verna Armstrong 87 of Mesa, AZ formally of Glasgow died Saturday, March 20, 2004 in Mesa, AZ. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Clint and Minnie Goode McCoy and the wife of the late Justus Armstrong. Survivors include 2 sons Bob Armstrong and Charles Steen both of Mesa, AZ, 2 brothers Glen 'Billy' McCoy of Eighty Eight, Jewell McCoy of Glasgow, 2 sisters Ruby Pace of Glasgow and Frances Pedigo of Tennessee, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 3 brotehrs Russell McCoy, Herman 'Red' McCoy and Ernest McCoy, 3 sisters Rennie Glass, Versie Glass and Dovie Strode. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5PM until 8PM Friday, March 26, 2004 at the funeral home
