Versa Garmon

Versa Coile Garmon 99 of Georgetown, KY formerly of Glasgow died Friday, May 7, 2010 in Georgetown, KY. Born in Metcalfe County she was the daughter of the late Andrew & Hattie Runyon Froedge and wife of the late Frankie Garmon. Mrs. Garmon was a member of the Columbia Ave. Church of Christ and the Republican Women's Club. She was also retired from Handmacher in Glasgow. Survivors include 11 grandchildren Eddie Garmon of Lakeland, FL, Karen Garmon, David Garmon, Richard Garmon and Gail Thomas all of Glasgow, Timothy Garmon and Deborah Hurt both of Edmonton, Vicky Clark of Georgetown, KY, Beverly Knight, Peggy Wilder and Kenny Crimmons all of Jeffersonville, IN; 1 son-in-law Ken Crimmons of Charleston, IN; 14 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 sons Edward and Harold Garmon, a daughter Margie Crimmons, 4 sisters Bessie, Dimple, Myrtle and Violet and 3 brothers Raymond, Delbert and Comer. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Casey Fork Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Monday, May 10, 2010 at the funeral home.
