Vick Emberton

Vick Emberton 87 of Glasgow died Monday, December 29, 2014 at his home. Born in Monroe County he was the son of the late Ed and Pearl Turner Emberton. Vick was retired from Lyon Lumber Co. in Glasgow for whom he worked for 43 years. He was a member of South Side Baptist Church. Mr. Emberton was also preceded in death by his wife Gola Polson Emberton, 4 brothers Jesse, Quin, Glen and Rondal Emberton and 3 sisters Nancy Ross, Velma Pursley and Edna Rigney. He is survived by his daughter Sherry Isenberg of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of services.
