Victor Robbins

Victor L. Robbins 88 of Glasgow and formally of Indianapolis, IN died Friday January 25, 2008 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Bedford, IN the son of the late Homer and Blanch Hawk Robbins. Mr. Robbins was a retired steel burner for Insley Steel Manufactory in Indianapolis, IN. He was a Veteran of WWII and married June 14, 1953 to Merle Gerkin. Survivors include his wife Merle Robbins of Glasgow; daughter Blossom Mills(Bob) of South Bend, IN; son John Robbins(Sarah) of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Crystal Baxter(Steve), Shaun Robbins, Stephanie Robbins, Linda Mills, Williams and Robert Mills; 7 great grandchildren Brandon Baxter, Katie Baxter, Kyle Baxter, Nicholas Robbins, Dasia, Daria & Darious. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers Garrel and Leslie Robbins and 1 sister Evelina Robbins. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday January 28, 2008 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
