Virgil Johnson 65 of Cave City, KY died Monday February 12, 2007 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was a retired House Painter. He was currently employed at the Superwash Car Wash in Glasgow. Mr. Johnson was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he was active in the Odds and Ends small group. He enjoyed golf, fishing, woodworking and was a member of T.P.A. He is survived by his wife Maria Smith Johnson; his mother Lucy Helen Logsdon Johnson of Scottsburg, IN; a brother Clarence Johnson of Louisville; 4 sisters Frances Martin of Glasgow, Beverly Hedrick of Scottsburg, IN, Imajean Garber of Horse Cave and Linda Meese of Cave City and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Harold Johnson and a brother Cecil Johnson. Funeral services will be 6:00pm Wednesday February 14, 2007 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Park City on Thursday at 9:00am. Visitation will be at Immanuel Baptist Church on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and Wednesday from 1:00pm until time for the service. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
