Virginia Arlene Jackman

Arlene 'Nana' Jackman 67 of Glasgow died Monday, March 24, 2014 at her home. Born in Glasgow she was the daughter of the late Marvin Furlong and Virginia Furlong Green. Arlene was retired from Bailey-Gibson Buick, GMC and was also a former employee for the office of the Barren County Court Clerk. She was a member of Grider Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Joe David Jackman; children Jackie (Steve) Wilkinson of Glasgow, Brian (Sonja) Greene of Spring City, TN, Jennifer (Jimmy) Payne of Glasgow and Chad Greene of Bowling Green; step-children Shannon (Stephen) Oliver, David (April) Jackman and Toye (Todd) Medford all of Glasgow; grandchildren Britney Wilkinson, Cole Wilkinson, Sabrina Greene, Garrett Payne, Allie Payne, Haley Greene, Jordan Greene, Shandi Wilson and Shelby Greene; 1 great-grandchild Bentley Wilson; several step-grandchildren; brothers Wayne (Debbie) Furlong, Sam (Velen) Furlong, Kenny Furlong all of Glasgow; sisters Sheryl (Terry) Foster of Summer Shade and Shelia (Danny) Whitlow of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son Jimmie Daryl Greene and a brother Richard Furlong. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday, March 27th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11am Wednesday.
