Virginia Thomsen

Virginia Beasley Thomsen 77 of Glasgow died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Rosewood Healthcare Facility in Bowling Green, KY. Born in Nashville, TN she was the daughter of the late Foster Farris Beasley & Frances Rice Beasley and wife of the late Rudolf Otto Thomsen, Jr. Mrs. Thomsen was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church, a retired Teacher in the Barren County School System for 33 years, a former Ms. Senior Kentucky and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include a daughter Heather Thomsen of Bowling Green; two sons Rick Thomsen and wife Vanessa of Glasgow and Rudolf Otto Thomsen, III and wife Kathy of McMinnville, TN; two grandsons MaCrae Thomsen and Jamison Crouch; a sister Charlotte Northrop and husband Harold of Athens, GA and a brother Dr. Farris Beasley and wife Elma of Fayetteville, TN. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, March 23, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
