Virginia Lois Whitley 68 of Glasgow, Kentucky died Saturday January 15, 2005 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Robert Taylor Harper and Winnie 'Tootsie' Smith Harper. Mrs. Whitley was a homemaker and was employed at the Kentucky Pants Factory. She attended the Glasgow Wesleyan Church. Survivors include her daughter Shelia A. Dillard and husband Carl of Glasgow; her son Ricky L. Turner and wife Donna of Glasgow; a sister Maxine Ogles and husband Russie; three brothers Wayne Harper and wife Vivian, Carrroll 'Buddy' Harper and wife Carolyn and Raymond Harper and wife Brenda all of Glasgow; grandchildren Angela Thomapson and husband Sam of Glasgow, Diana Smith and husband Curtis of Ohio, Jeffrey Dillard and wife Amber of North Carolina and Gregori Dillard and and Lynnsey Coffey of Louisville, KY; three great grandchildren Kaydynce Dillard of North Carolina, Caraline Thompson and Hunter Thompson both of Glasgow, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her caregiver Carrie Mae Dennison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herman Clifton 'Red' Whitley and a daughter Janet Kay Turner. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday January 18, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 12:00 noon Monday at the funeral home.
