Vola Jolly

Vola Berniece Polson Jolly 88 of Glasgow died Sunday, August 26th at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in the Kino area of Barren County the daughter of the late Henry Clarence and May Jane Wells Polson. Mrs. Jolly was retired from Mallory Capacitor and was a lifelong member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved quilting, gardening and her family. The loving mother and grandmother is survived by her children, Carolyn Jolly Martin and Charles Jolly (Nancy) both of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Gary Bunch (LaDarra), Gala Clay, Larry Jolly (Wendy), Travis Jolly (Ellen), and Cody Jolly (Savannah); 7 great-grandchildren Mallory and Morgan Clay, Ashley, Tommy, Jace and Read Jolly and Dalton Bunch; 2 nieces Linda Gibbons and Brenda Delmonache and a nephew Gary Pickett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Jennings Jolly, 2 brothers Mitchell and Edward Earl Polson, 2 sisters Edna Pickett and Agnes Murline Polson and a nephew Mike Polson. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday beginning at 11:00am and Wednesday at the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 9:00am until time for the service.
