Wallace Decker

Wallace E. Decker 79 of Glasgow, KY died Sunday December 14, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Monticello, KY the son of the late Zola and Erlon Pruitt Decker. Wallace was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a retired after 35 years as Sgt. 1st Class with the Kentucky National Guard. He was a member of the E. Main St. United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Joyce Miller Decker; his son Dewayne Decker and wife Dana of Glasgow; his daughter Tammy Sorensen and husband Pete of Grand Rapids, Michigan; 3 grandchildren Ashley Tabor (Adam), and Justin and Lauren Sorensen; 1 great granddaughter Georgianna Grace Tabor and a brother J.R. Decker of Florence, KY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Andrew Decker and a brother Ralph Decker. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday December 17, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial with military honors in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
