Wallace Argil Depp, 81, Apopka, FL passed away on February 10, 2004. He was born in Barren County , Kentucky on June 4, 1922. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the War he married Maxie Peden of Glasgow, KY on December 28, 1946. They lived in Indianapolis, Indiana for 15 years, where their two sons were born. Wallace Dane Depp is a college professor at Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Peden Louis Depp is a federal agent with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security stationed in Denton, Texas. Since 1961 Wally and Maxie have lived in Apopka where Wally worked as a real estate broker until retirement. He served as an active deacon in the First Basptist Church of Apopka for many years. He is survived by his wife, Maxie; his two sons, Dane and Peden; his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sterling of Orlando; his brother, Willard Depp of Indianapolis; nephews, Dr. Joe Sterling, Orlando and Jon Sterling, Lucas, KY; nieces, Dr. Alice Sterling, Orlando, Kim Depp, Thomasville, North Carolina, Katherine Cain, Orlando, and Jeannie Hixson, Lexington, KY. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, February 15, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
