Walter Rondyl Leftwich 89 of Glasgow died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his home. He was born in Edmonton, KY the son of the late Walter Scott Leftwich and Addie Turner Leftwich. Rondyl was a car salesman, the owner of the former Leftwich Auto Sales in Glasgow. He was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ and was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was also a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a founding member of the Chapter 20 Color Guard in Glasgow. Mr. Leftwich was preceded in death by his wife Ann Bagby Leftwich, a grandson Jason Leftwich and three brothers and four sisters. He is survived by 2 sons Bill Leftwich (Brenda) of Glasgow and Joe Leftwich (Jill) of Glasgow; 2 daughters Ellen Hodges of Glasgow and Elizabeth Lomax of Gallatin, TN; 10 grandchildren Adam, Aaron, Ben and Katie Leftwich, J. B., Taylor, Marlee and Caden Hodges and Emily and Jonathan Lomax; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister Geniece Marcum of Edmonton. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 14th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3:00 Friday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital @ P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
