Wanda Buckingham

Wanda L. Buckingham 81 of Glasgow died Tuesday May 1, 2007 at her home. She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Cecil Vann Payne and Ellis Mae Shaw Payne and wife of the late Veachel H. Buckingham. Mrs. Buckingham was a 1943 graduate of Park City High School and was a member of the Westwood Church of Christ in Glasgow. She is survived by 3 sons Danny Buckingham of Glasgow, Darryl Buckingham (Janet) of Falmouth, Mass., and Dennis Buckingham (Cindy) of San Angelo, TX; 2 daughters Darlys Booker (James M.) of Brownsville, KY and Drewcilla Childress (Darrell) of Glasgow; 14 grandchildren: Jennifer Buckingham of Bowling Green, D. Andrew Buckingham of San Angelo, TX, Brett Buckingham of St. Petersburg, FL, Stacey Lyssy of San Antonio, TX, Kristi Buckingham of San Angelo, TX, Jessica Buckingham of Florence, KY, Denise Buckingham of Los Angeles, CA, Jordan Buckingham of San Angelo, TX, Jami Booker of Brownsville, KY, Neal Booker of Cobourg Ontario Canada, Willis Buckingham of Colorado, Chris Childress of Glasgow, B. J. Childress of Glasgow and Julie Baldecci of France. Also Surviving are 3 great grandchildren, a brother-in-law Cecil Buckingham of Alvaton and a special friend Julie London. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
