Wanda Faye Smith

Wanda Faye Brewer Smith, 66, of Cave City, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at NHC Healthcare. She was born June 24, 1955 in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Verna Brewer. Wanda was a former sales associate for Walmart and loved to cook, listen to music, sing, and dance. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Leslie Smith; three daughters, Lynette Childs (Dan), Jessica Smith, Jerina Smith; five grandchildren, Damion and Demarkus Segarra, Avery, Ellison, and Olivia Childs; two great grandchildren, Adrian and Emberly Segarra; and two brothers, Ronald and Donald Brewer. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by an infant son; an aunt who was like a mother to her, Magaline Bailey; and a sister, Virgia Mae Mansfield. The funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 15th at the First Baptist Church with burial in the Little Barren Baptist Church Cemetery.
