Wanda Jean Garrison Coffey, 'Mama Jean', 73 of Glasgow died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her home. Born in Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Leona Garner Garrison and wife of the late Carroll Coffey. Jean was an employee for 17 years at Handmacher and then employed by Eaton Axle Co. where she retired. She was a volunteer for several community organizations, a member of the Barren County homemakers and the Glasgow Model Airplane Club. She is survived by 2 daughters Jackie Redford (Kevin) of Glasgow and Bobbie Coffey (Brian Elmore) of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Lorna Ward and Travis and Branson Redford all of Glasgow; 1 brother Tim Garrison and 1 sister Donie Garner both of Glasgow. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a brother Herbert Garrison, a sister Myrtle Gray, 2 nephews and 1 niece. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday, February 21st at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Friday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to the T. J. Samson Hospice Program.
