Wanitta Carter

Wanitta Perkins Carter, 87, of Cantonment, FL died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Baptist Manor in Pensacola, FL. She was born in Barren County, KY, December 30, 1924 to Hollis and Floye Matthews Perkins. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, William Robert Carter, SR and son William Robert Carter, JR. Survivors include her son, Matt (Arlene) Carter of Cantonment, FL and daughter Beverly (Carl) Munir of Canton, MI; Eight grandchildren ; nineteen great-grandchildren; Four sisters, Lera Kingrey of Etoile, KY, Nina (Donald) Cordor of Louisiana, Rose Mary (Wayne) McCoy of Cave City, KY, and Beth (Denny) Harper of Glasgow, KY. The funeral will be at 11:00 Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home, with burial in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12pm to 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
