Wavy Petty, age 65 of Eastview, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Springview Health & Rehab Center in Leitchfield. He was born August 9, 1948 in Big Clifty, Kentucky, the son of Oliver & Rissie Horn Petty. He is survived by two brothers, Paul & James Petty and two sisters, Faye Risner & Myrtle Roof. Other than hi parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Wilbur, & Ivan Petty, and one sister, Mary Nell Chambers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday (July 16, 2014) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Billy Mason & Bro. Delmar Williams officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Big Clifty. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m., Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
