Wendell Britt

Wendell Clay 'Wendy' Britt 76 of Glasgow died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Henry Clay Britt and Edith Spillman Britt. Mr. Britt was a member of the Peters Creek Baptist Church and a former Owner & Operator of a building supply company in Ohio and most recently a former employee of Lessenberry Do-It Center and Lowe's of Glasgow. Survivors include his wife Lena Mansfield Britt of Glasgow; 2 sons Terry Britt (Arliene) of Indianapolis, IN and Howard Britt (Kim) of Orlando, FL; 2 daughters Tina White (Don) of Bellbrook, OH and Paula Bunch (Royce) of Glasgow; a brother Robert 'Bobby' Britt (Delsie) of Glasgow; a sister Jean Buckley (Lawrence) of Temple Hill; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a Daughter Barbara Edwards. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
